Here you get the sunshine city of the Alps. It is said that there are 300 sunny days a year in Alpe H'huez, so if you head for the Alps and our sunny city, you are almost guaranteed good weather all year round.
A summer destination for the active
The city is known as Europe's best ski resort the winter. In the summer, you probably know it mostly from the Tour de France, where the cyclists have to fight their way up the 21 well-known bends.
However, we can offer you much more than that when you hop in the car, plane or bus to visit our lovely city. Summer in Alpe d'Huez offers a sea of possibilities that you won't want to miss on your active or relaxing summer holiday. Here are activities for the whole family, no matter what you're into. We will (almost) promise you that if your family's favorite activity is not to be found, you will find a brand new favorite activity here in the sunny city.
