2 years in Alpe d'Huez!

Yes, it's pretty good. 2 years!!! Two years have already passed since we handed over the keys to our house in North Zealand, filled the car with the last belongings we had, to head down to a somewhat closed France. Shit the nerves were outside the body, because there were just declared health crisis in France. But we managed it and the adventure turned out to be somewhat different than first expected 2 years ago.

After all, it's really only been 1.5 years since we went live with the first open hotel, then came a chalet and this year another hotel.

Now we can happily bring the news that Hotel le Refuge will be allowed to continue under our wings. Summer 2023 is confirmed and so is winter 2023/2024! 🤩🙌

Not only that, we are entering a winter season where our little family goes from being 3 👨‍👩‍👦 to being 4. 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦

It also means that I, Signe, will go on maternity leave over the winter and well into the spring/summer. But, don't you worry. I can't stay away from hotels. So Christmas will still be held at Refuge, the family will have small dinners at the hotels together with the guests, to show us and to tell our story, as well as make sure that the coziness is still to be found at the hotels 😉 For those of you with small children ski, Refuge has also just been upgraded with the most necessary things for families with children. Don't hesitate to ask us before arrival what equipment we have, so you don't have to lug it all around.

We hope that you will continue to follow our adventures, follow daily life and family life in Alpe d'huez right here, on our Instagram: @youralpadventure ♥️
